MICHAEL LUCENTE, CHEF DE CUISINE

An Italian-American born in New York, Chef de Cuisine Michael Lucente knew that cooking was his calling from an early start. After graduating from the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in 2003, Lucente worked under Chef Alain Allegretti at some of New York’s most esteemed restaurants, including Le Cirque and the Ritz Carlton’s Atelier. Following his work with Chef Allegretti, Lucente became Chef de Tournant at the Four Seasons L’Atelier de Robuchon and soon after opened Westchester’s first BLT Steak with Chef Laurent Tourondel.

In 2011, Lucente rejoined Chef Allegretti as Chef de Cuisine at his new Chelsea restaurant, La Promenade des Anglais. Here, Lucente combines the techniques of his traditional training with the style and culture of the French Riviera. The menu highlights simplicity, elegance, and strong flavors, emphasizing seafood and the traditional flavors of Nice.
